The aim of this grant is to provide financial support for undergraduate (pharmacy and biotechnology BSc) students studying in Hungarian or English programs at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Pécs, to participate in scientific conferences. This opportunity allows them to present their research results, expand their professional networks, and further develop their scientific competencies.
Eligibility Criteria:
1. The applicant must be an active undergraduate student who perform his/her studies continuously.
2. The applicant must have completed at least one active TDK semester, certified by his/her supervisor.
3. The applicant must commit to continuing his/her TDK work in the following semester. Otherwise, the grant amount must be repaid.
4. The applicant must agree to prepare a brief professional report after returning from the conference, detailing their experiences and achievements.
5. Only one author per abstract can receive travel support for a given conference.
6. An individual can receive support only once per year.
Grant Details:
Amount and Conditions:
• One-time grant with a maximum amount of net 100,000 HUF.
• Covers registration fees, travel and accommodation costs, and other conference-related expenses (e.g., local transportation).
• If the expected conference costs exceed the maximum amount, the applicant must secure and prove the availability of additional funding.
• If the total eligible costs are less than the grant amount, only the actual costs can be claimed.
• Applications must be submitted at least 30 days (domestic) or 60 days (international) before the conference.
• For foreign travel expenses in foreign currency, use the current MNB exchange rate at the time of application.
• Providing false information will result in disqualification.

• Abstract of the accepted poster or presentation
• Written recommendation from the supervisor
• Applicant's TDK-related achievements to date
• Requested grant amount, planned use, and proof of additional funding if needed
• Copy of conference announcement (venue, date, organizer) or the website of the event
Submission and Evaluation:
• Deadline: Continuous, until the budget is available

• Evaluation: The GYTK TDK Committee will assess applications based on conference relevance, research novelty, applicant's TDK achievements, and budget feasibility
• Notification: Applicants will be informed via email within 10 days of submission
