Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), the London-based organization published its latest university rankings on June 19.
The list comparing the world's best higher educational institutions also includes the University of Pécs. In 2023, its position was 801–850th; in 2024, it improved to 771–780th; and this year, it has reached an even more prestigious position of 741–750th. The University of Pécs also ranked highest in Hungary in the categories of learning experience and international students.
QS has been evaluating universities globally since 2004, using nine key criteria such as academic and employer reputation, faculty-student ratio, internationalization, and sustainability. This year, they analyzed data from nearly 8,500 institutions, selecting only 1,501 for inclusion in the final rankings.
