Students of Faculty of Pharmacy achieved outstanding results at the autumn TDK Conference

The joint Scientific Students’ Conference (TDK) of the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Pécs was held from November 13 to 15, 2024. This event provided an opportunity for many students to present their research findings.

Two-thirds of the registered TDK students participated in the conference, marking a significant increase compared to previous years. Five sections were dedicated to pharmaceutical sciences, reflecting the commitment of both students and faculty members to scientific work. The participants also included a notable number of BSc biotechnology students.

The students presented diverse topics that could form the foundation for research and development (R&D) activities in the pharmaceutical industry. Their professional preparedness and dedication were well-reflected in the high quality of presentations, which were commended by the jury members. The presentations focused on various topics and were evaluated not only based on their scientific content but also on the students’ presentation skills and ability to engage in scientific discussions.

The results achieved at the conference highlight the dedication and hard work of the students, while also emphasizing the crucial role of their supervisors’ professional guidance.

The top performers are now preparing for the 2025 National Scientific Students’ Conference (OTDK), which will be hosted in Pécs.

The Faculty of Pharmacy Dean’s Office and TDK Committee sincerely congratulate all participants and awardees and extend heartfelt thanks to the supervisors for their dedicated work, without which these achievements would not have been possible. We wish all students and their supervisors continued success in their scientific endeavors!
